Foothills Regional 9-1-1 recognizes members for National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week - April 2025

During this years celebration, several members were presented with the Alberta Emergency Services Medal. This provincial award recognizes the dedication and good conduct of emergency services personnel in Alberta. To be eligible, individuals must have completed at least 12 years of service. The medals can be accompanied by subsequent bars for extended service. A bronze bronze bar for 22 years, al silver bar for 32 years and a gold bar for 40 years.
This year at Foothills Regional 9-1-1, two members received their 12, 22 and 32 years
medals, two members received their 12 and 22 year medals. and four members received their 12 year medals.
"On April 14th and 17th, our municipal partners will celebrate the accomplishments of our Foothills Regional 9-1-1 Team. We send our gratitude to our frontline telecommunications personnel who are there first when seconds count. Congratulations receiving well deserved milestone recognition during this National Public Safety Telecommunications Week and thank you for your dedicated service to our 25 municipalities" stated Suzanne Oel, Chairperson of Foothills Regional Emergency Services Commission, municipal owners of Foothills Regional 9-1-1.
